Welcome to the Writing Page

Since we now have short stories on this wiki, a 'fanon' page is no longer appropriate. So here we are! The hub of all writing!

How to make your own

1. Click on the 'Contribute' button in the upper right hand corner.
2. Click on 'Add a page' when it appears.
3. Name your fanon/short story.
4. Pick either Standard Layout or Blank Page. (We recommend starting with a blank page, but if you aren't familiar with the Visual or Source Editor, using the Standard Layout can be helpful)
5. Add your text. You can also add pictures to make your page more interesting.
6. If you get stuck, ask for help. The admins and rollbacks are willing to help. They have also made pages for people
7. Follow the Guidelines located directly below this sentence.

The Guidelines

They're pretty common sense, but here they are.

1. Rate your story correctly. Seriously. If you're writing a lemon, tell us. Some users have sensitive eyes. Be respectful.
2. Sign your name on the top or bottom of the page. It helps the administrators sort the page.
3. Edit your work, please. Correct as many typos and grammatical errors as you can. If you normally make a lot of mistakes, get a beta reader. A lot of the users on this site are writers. Someone will help you if you ask.
4. Make sure you put your piece in the right category. The 'fanon' category goes on fanon works. The 'Short-Story' category goes on short stories. If you aren't sure what categories should go on your story, ask.
